Graham Hawkes / Wednesday, May 31, 2017 / Categories: Business Planning How to target success Purely and simply – set some goals. I often talk about preparing a business plan, and there are an amazing number of people who do not want to get into that. So if you don’t want to plan, at least set some goals. Work out what you want to achieve in 3 months, 6 months, 1 year and then work towards it. That is a lot less daunting than doing a 5 year plan, and it gets you into the routine of aiming at something. Set achievable goals that stretch you a little bit and see how you go. You’ll be amazed at the results. Once you get the hang of it and reap the benefits, you can then progress to a full business plan which is, after all, just a series of goals. Remember – if you set ‘em you’ll get ‘em, if you don’t you won’t! Previous Article If you can't do the job, then say so!
