Need more testimonials? - here's a good idea


A few weeks ago, I received an email asking me to enter a competition.  All I had to do was provide the company with a good news story about what their product had done for me.  So I sent them some blurb and a few weeks later received this email:

“Hi Graham,

Thank you so much for entering our Story Competition and sharing your Cramp-Stop story with us.  Unfortunately your story was not selected as the winner this time. But as a 'thank you' for sharing your story, we'd like to offer you a free 25ml spray bottle of your choice. 

 
Please send an email (info@nznaturalformulas.co.nz) to let us know which complimentary bottle you would like to receive and your delivery address for our courier.  As the Cramp-Stop stories are really appreciated by us, we would like to ask your permission to share an excerpt from your story on our website testimonials - only your first name would be used.

 
Once again thank you so much for sharing your story and enjoy the continued use of our products.

What a great promotion.  I am always saying that you should ask for testimonials and this company did that with bells on.  Of course they got my OK to use the story, and of course I received some free product.  Definitely an opportunity found, and taken with both hands.  Why don't you try it?
