Give away a sample - it's a sure fire winner

Whenever I am in Kerikeri, I always drop into Makana Chocolates where not only you can view the amazing range of handcrafted chocolates, you can also watch them being made.  But that is not what makes Makana Chocolates unique.

 

When anyone enters the showroom they are welcomed with a smiling face, and an offer of not one, but two chocolates to sample.  This irresistible offer if you are a chocolate fanatic like me, has several advantages: 

It gives you a taste of the irrefutable quality of the merchandise
It makes you feel welcome on the premises
It has the effect in most cases, of ensuring that at least one of the party visiting the showroom will purchase.

What better advertising gives you as much bang for your buck as that?  The cost of the giveaways would be minimal and the rewards immense.  On my recent visit to Makana, everyone present in the showroom at the same time, left with some chocolates under their belts.

Definitely an opportunity found, and a lesson to be learned by any business.  What can you give away to anyone who visits your place of business.  Think about it, implement it, and watch the results end up in your bank balance.
