Here's a contractor who never misses an opportunity - and over delivers on his promises

One of our neighbours recently had his driveway concreted.  We had been thinking about doing our drive over the previous few months, so we were extremely interested in how it turned out.  We were not disappointed as Ben and his men from Get Real Contractors in Paeroa did the job with a minimum of fuss, and to a quality which far surpassed the very ordinary offering promised on Ben’s business card.

So that is an opportunity lost.  I have no doubt that Get Real Contractors' customers are all 100% really satisfied, and Ben should be making that known on his card with a message designed to pull in the prospects.

Before Ben left the job over the road, we asked him to quote on our drive.  There was none of the attitude most of us are experiencing with tradies who are too busy to even think about it.  Ben was delighted, and we had our quote the next day.  So we caught up with him to ask a few questions, and get an idea on timing.  We were ecstatic to hear that as soon as we gave the go ahead, it would be scheduled, and there was still time to do it before Christmas.

That told me that Ben is really organised, and that was confirmed when we asked for a specific date.  He prepares a number of sites in one week, and pours the following week, so we now knew that our job would be done within two weeks – weather permitting.  And at the time of going to print the job is finished.  What great service!  I don’t know how many times we’ve been told by a tradesman that a job we wanted done couldn’t be done before Christmas – and that goes back to early October.  I would not be surprised if those tradies ran out of work well before Christmas, and are now busy calling back the very people they put off – just because they were not organised.

Ben and Get Real Contractors are organised, and took the opportunity when it was offered..  The guy just gives off an unassuming confidence that assures you that you've got the right company for the job at hand.  We are happy and satisfied customers, and will be spreading the word.

Definitely an opportunity found – and I will also be talking to him about doing a bit of bragging about how good they are so that more opportunities are opened up.
